Apruv Inc. (“Apruv,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of our customers, users, field technicians, and end consumers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our Services.

By accessing or using Apruv’s Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Introduction

Apruv provides software solutions that include:

  • Apruv Verify — digital agreement verification for field sales
  • Apruv Align — technician performance analytics
  • Apruv Rate — post-service review requests, proof-of-service videos, and optional technician tipping/bonus features

Apruv only collects and processes the minimum data required to power these Services. This Privacy Policy describes exactly what data we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it secure.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information We Collect from Our Business Customers (B2B Clients)

To deliver Apruv Verify, Apruv Align, and Apruv Rate, we may collect:

  • Customer name
  • Service address
  • Phone number and/or email address
  • Technician name and route/job metadata
  • Service type, date, plan, job identifiers, and CRM-provided notes

This information is provided by your service management software (e.g., FieldRoutes) or your team to enable verification workflows, proof-of-service documentation, review requests, and technician performance insights.

2.2 Information We Collect from End Consumers

When a service company uses Apruv:

  • Customers may receive verification calls, proof-of-service video links, review requests, or tip options.
  • If a customer responds to a request, leaves feedback, or leaves a tip, we collect that response.

Apruv does not collect or store any payment card information — this is processed exclusively by regulated third-party payment partners.

2.3 Information Automatically Collected

We may automatically collect:

  • device and browser information,
  • IP address,
  • operating system,
  • log data,
  • usage patterns,
  • cookie identifiers.

This is used only for security, analytics, and service improvement.

2.4 Information We Do NOT Collect

Apruv does not collect or store:

  • Social Security numbers
  • Driver’s license or government ID
  • Payment card numbers
  • Bank account information
  • Financial or billing records
  • Date of birth
  • Demographic or sensitive personal data

We also do not access any CRM data not required for the specific tasks our Services perform.

3. How We Use Information

Apruv uses information solely to:

  • deliver and improve our Services;
  • validate customer agreements (Apruv Verify);
  • send proof-of-service videos, review requests, or tip options (Apruv Rate);
  • generate technician performance analytics (Apruv Align);
  • provide customer support;
  • secure our platform, prevent fraud, and maintain audit logs;
  • comply with legal obligations and regulatory requirements.

We do not:

  • sell personal data,
  • share mobile numbers,
  • use identifiable data for model training,
  • use data for advertising or marketing unrelated to service delivery.

4. Mobile Number Privacy

Mobile numbers are used strictly for service-related communications (e.g., verification calls, proof-of-service links, review requests).

Apruv does not:

  • sell mobile numbers,
  • share mobile numbers with unaffiliated third parties,
  • use mobile numbers for unrelated marketing,
  • rent or disclose mobile numbers except where required by law.

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.

Where applicable, Apruv processes data under the following legal bases:

  • Contractual necessity (performing services purchased by our business customer)
  • Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, analytics, product improvement)
  • Legal obligations

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information only with:

6.1 Service Providers

Vendors that support:

  • cloud hosting,
  • analytics,
  • customer support,
  • fraud prevention,
  • secure payouts (regulated financial institutions).

Our vendors are contractually required to protect data and use it only for Apruv’s business purposes.

6.2 Regulated Payment Partners

For optional tipping and bonus payouts within Apruv Rate, payment partners receive only the minimal data required to process payouts securely.

We may disclose information if:

  • required by law, court order, subpoena, or regulatory requirement;
  • necessary to protect rights, safety, and property.

6.4 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or corporate reorganization, information may be transferred as permitted by law.

7. Data Retention

Apruv retains data only as long as necessary for service delivery or as required by law.

Typical retention: two years, unless:

  • a customer requests earlier deletion,
  • laws require shorter or longer retention,
  • an active investigation or legal requirement prevents deletion.

Data is securely deleted following Apruv’s internal Data Deletion & Retention Policy.

8. Data Security

Apruv maintains robust security measures, including:

  • encryption in transit and at rest,
  • secure key management,
  • role-based access control (RBAC),
  • multi-factor authentication (MFA),
  • secure development and deployment processes,
  • continuous monitoring & alerting,
  • vendor security assessments,
  • formal incident response procedures.

No system is 100% secure, but Apruv follows industry best practices and internal security processes aligned with our:

Apruv Services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If we become aware of unintended collection, we will delete the information.

Apruv may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. This Privacy Policy applies only to Apruv’s Services.

13. Payments & Payout Processing

Apruv enables service companies to collect tips and bonuses for technicians. All financial processing is conducted by regulated payment partners.

Apruv does not:

  • process payments
  • store payment card data
  • handle bank account details
  • control funds or custody

Payment partners maintain full responsibility for financial processing, compliance, and settlement.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you by updating the effective date and, where required, providing additional notice.

Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
